Do you need to clean your alpaca bedding?
Your bed is where you spend a large percentage of your life and we believe a good night’s sleep is essential not a luxury.
Our thermo-regulating alpaca bedding products should give you years of use, but we know that accidents can happen!
If you throw your morning coffee over your duvet or your dog pays you a visit in bed straight from a muddy puddle, then you may need to have your bedding cleaned.
Alpaca duvets, pillows and mattress toppers can all be dry cleaned if required.
PERFECT FOR ALL SEASONS
Our luxurious and sustainable alpaca bedding is perfect for all seasons, so just one duvet will keep you warm in the coldest winter and cool in the warmest summer months. How does it do this? Well, alpaca wool fibre has a hollow core which acts as air pockets and helps to control the temperature and stop you getting too hot or too cold. This is perfect if there are two people sharing with differing temperature requirements and for helping with night sweats.
Alpaca wool also doesn’t retain water which helps to keep alpacas dry and warm even when the weather is really wet. This benefit means that alpaca bedding products stay dry and fresh and the low moisture contents means dirt has a harder time sticking to it.
HYPOALLERGENIC
Alpaca wool is also hypoallergenic as it is naturally lanolin free and the clean and dry alpaca fibre environment also deters dust mites which can be a cause of allergies, asthma and eczema for some people. Unlike feather bedding products, alpaca wool is odour free and to top it all, alpaca wool is also naturally flame retardant which means no chemicals are required to meet safety requirements.
You really can’t get a better sustainable and eco-friendly bedding product!
