Each pack is 6 sachets of 10mg each, totalling 60g. This is approximately to cover 6 feeds over 24 hours if not receiving any milk from the dam.
We always recommend dam’s colostrum as first choice and to seek veterinary advice if cria not suckling well over the first 24 hours. Plasma transfusion may still be required (if available) to prevent FPT (failure of passive transfer of antibiodies) if cria IgG levels are low. Powdered colostrum will help reduce but not completely eradicate risk of FPT.
