Alpaca Experience

Alpacas are intelligent endearing animals that once met will have you hooked! If you wish to meet our lovely alpacas then we can arrange a small and private alpaca trek and you can learn all about these fascinating animals. If you cannot come to visit us in person why don’t you let us visit you in the comfort of your own home with one of our alpaca video conference calls and/or alpaca adoption packages!

The Alpaca Meet, Greet and Walk/The Alpaca Experience Includes:

Our licenced experiences last around 2 hours and start by meeting and feeding the alpacas and learning a bit about them. Then you can choose an alpaca each to walk around the field. There will be numerous photo opportunities and you can even grab a selfie with your chosen alpaca!

Our alpaca experience includes; an introduction to these wonderful creatures, together with a general farm safety talk, feeding/general tasks then you can enjoy some gentle alpaca walking with the alpaca of your choice from our trained walking team. You will be able to look at some alpaca fibre and find out how we make different products, and you will even have the opportunity to purchase an alpaca souvenir from your favourite alpaca! Afterwards you can relax with a drink provided in our luxurious heated gazebo and enjoy the backdrop of stunning views whilst admiring the alpacas grazing. Most people choose to also bring a picnic.

When you come to visit the alpacas please remember we are a farm, so please do dress accordingly, wearing suitable shoes or wellies and waterproof clothing or sun protection as appropriate.

Adopt an Alpaca

When you purchase an alpaca adoption pack, whether for yourself or as a gift, you will receive an adorable characters pictured and the following in a gift box:

• a real alpaca ethical-fur toy worth £12 (approx 10 x 11cm)
• an alpaca gift (choose from an alpaca keyring, stationary set or an alpaca car air freshener)
• a photo of your chosen alpaca
• a hand-illustrated card of your chosen alpaca (you can personalise this with your own message at checkout. It will appear exactly as you write it in the card)
• an information sheet all about your alpaca
• a sample of fleece from your alpaca
• The recipient will also receive an update later in the year and Christmas card from their adopted alpaca in December.

We are just 15 mins from Bristol Suspension Bridge and 5 mins drive from the M5 junction 20. We are well served by 2 bus routes having the X6 and X7 bus routes stop just outside our farm, and we have car parking spaces for a couple of cars.

We are a private fibre producing farm not generally open to the general public, but if you are looking for a luxury alpaca experience where you can meet, feed and walk our alpacas we would love to have you visit.
