To celebrate National Volunteers Week we wish to thank all our wonderful volunteers here at Cadbury Alpacas. This summer we have vet students covering our birthing season but we’re always happy to welcome new volunteers especially from September onwards. So if you fancy getting some weekly exercise outdoors helping with our 30+ alpacas and llama do get in touch. If you live locally and could commit to between 1-3 hours, 1 morning a week, we would love to hear from you.
You can spend time getting to know our inquisitive alpacas either on your own or with a friend/family member or another volunteer. Whether it’s topping up hay and cleaning the shelters in the winter, or hosing down hot alpacas and being on birth-watch in the summer, the alpacas will be grateful for your help all year around, and you will get some alpaca therapy for free (and maybe something for your CV!) Under 18’s welcome with an adult, minimum age 14. Do get in touch if you’d like to volunteer on our alpaca farm!
