A simple versatile classic, Summer or Winter, our buttery soft jersey shawl is handmade by Samantha Holmes’ artisan team in Peru using 100% Alpaca.

Light, but incredibly warm, our alpaca scarves are generously sized (approx 80 x 180cm) so you can wear as a shawl on an evening out, but fine enough to wear as neck muffler inside a coat.

Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic as it contains no lanolin and has very low prickle factor.

You’ll also find your alpaca scarf will not pill or bobble – alpaca is very durable and the softness improves with wear.

For cleaning, we recommend a cool gentle handwash, no more than 30º with a mild detergent such as Stergene or baby shampoo. Wash for no more than 5 minutes. Do not wring. Wrap the item in a clean dry towel to absorb excess moisture. Reshape as necessary and lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.
